THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist University Women's Soccer team lost to Texas Woman's University, 1-0, on Saturday night at the TWU Soccer Field in Denton, Texas. Chelsea Martin scored the gamewinner for the Pioneers shortly after the start of the second half for her second goal of the season.
Hope Koym made three saves in goal for the Patriots, who fall to 0-3-1 on the season. TWU goalie Samantha Jimenez racked up nine saves as the Pioneers improved to 3-0-0.
