THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist University Men's Soccer team lost to Texas A&M International University, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon at Dustdevil Soccer Field in Laredo, Texas. Michael Izkander scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Dustdevil offense.
TAMIU took a 2-0 lead after goals by Aaron Zuniga and Rafael Montabes in the 27th and 28th minutes, respectively. Josiah Benjamin tacked on a third goal in the 50th minute off a corner kick from Izkander, who scored the final goal in the 75th minute after the rebound off a
Sean Bouland save.
Landon Lacy trimmed the margin back to three goals in the 85th minute after collecting the rebound off a save and putting it past goalkeeper Antonio Romero.
