The Dallas Baptist University Men's Soccer team defeated Lubbock Christian University, 3-2, on Saturday, September 24, at Patriot Soccer Field in Dallas, Texas. Riley Alvey scored the game winner in the 79th minute to break a 2-2 tie.

The Patriots took a 2-0 lead in the first half off goals from Brooks Friedman and David Fraga before surrendering the lead in the second half. Sean Bouland made seven saves before handing over duties to Tyler Hofmann, who held LCU scoreless over the final 19 minutes.
