No. 7 DBU Battles Metro State to 0-0 Draw

THE LEAD
The No. 7 Dallas Baptist University Women's Soccer team tied Metro State University 0-0 after two extra time periods on Saturday afternoon at The Regency Athletic Complex in Denver, Colorado. The Patriots fired off 21 shots against the Roadrunners, but were unable to convert one into a gamewinner.

DBU goalkeeper Hope Koym made eight saves to keep the game scoreless, and Erica Torres made six saves in goal for Metro State. Cecily Martinez led the Patriots offense with four shots, but couldn't find the back of the net.
