THE LEAD
The DBU Men's Basketball team extended their winning streak to six with a victory over Randall University, 121-69, on Thursday evening at the Burg Center in Dallas, Texas. The Patriots had four players in double-digits, led behind
Amari Bryant and his hot shooting. Amari went 7-for-10 from beyond the arc and recorded a season-high 27 points.
Brayden Harris recorded his first double-double on the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Patrick Burke went 6-for-8 from the field, adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. While Shannon Brown also had an efficient night with 16 points on 71% shooting.

DBU held a tight lead through the first eight minutes of the opening half as Randall responded each time the Patriots started to pull away. In came
Amari Bryant and
Brayden Harris off the bench. Harris scored 6 consecutive points from the block, followed by Bryant who went on a scoring rampage. Bryant dropped six straight three pointers, which he capped with a drive-in layup to put DBU ahead 43-26. The Patriots concluded the first half on a 13-4 run to give them the halftime lead at 62-41. Bryant went a perfect 8-for-8 from the field and recorded 24 first half points for DBU.

The Patriots did not miss a beat as they continued what they started at the end of the first half but this time it was behind the strong play of Burke. Burke scored 10 points in the first four minutes of the second half, and DBU extended their lead to 74-47. Harris came off the benched and produced similar results as he did in the first half. Harris caught fire and dropped 10 more points increasing the lead to 108-63. The Patriots cruised to the finish with a final score of 121-69.

THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- DBU's 121 points is their second highest scoring total of all-time. The Patriots scored 125 back on November 25, 2008 against East Central University.
- Bryant went 6-for-6 from the three-point line which is the most threes in a half since he went 7-for-7 in the second half on February 2, 2015 against Panhandle State.
- DBU scored on 19 straight possessions in the second half
- DBU scored 36 points off turnovers, which is the most all season.
