DBU loses to Texas A&M-Kingsville in Kingsville in three sets. The Lady Patriots were coming into this game with some momentum after an impressive 9-point run in the loss to St. Mary's last night, but they couldn't find a way to slow down TAMUK's attack. DBU could only get an attack percentage of .038 while TAMUK finished with at .383 for the match. No Lady Patriot could find a way to score this afternoon as

Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick tied for most on the team with four kills each.
Going into the first set TAMUK wanted to show they were ready from the start. After a few kills and two aces, TAMUKÂ put up a 13-5 lead. The Lady Patriot couldn't find a way to cut the lead down lower than six points and TAMUK would go on to win the set 25-17. The Lady Patriots came out hot in the second set though, scoring the first five points. As DBU was leading 7-2, TAMUK would score 10 points in a row to take a 12-7 lead. DBU wouldn't find the lead in that set and lose 25-15. The third set saw DBU let up another large point run. With DBU leading 6-5, TAMUKÂ would score nine of the next 11 points to take a 14-8 lead. They would lead the set the rest of the way and win it 25-15 again.

- This marks the 6th consecutive loss for the Lady Patriots, only winning two sets in the process.
- The Lady Patriots have not won an away game since tournament play back in early September. Their away record is 1-6.
- In the two games back from her injury, Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick has 16 blocks total.

The Lady Patriots travel to Laredo to take on Texas A&M International tomorrow at noon. The Lady Patriots beat TAMUI in three sets earlier this season, so this could be a good way for them to turn things around.
