COACH MICHELLE LENARD ON A TOUGH CONFERENCE BATTLE
"Playing St. Edward's is always a big game for us. The last five or six years, it's come down to the two of us at the top of the conference standings, so we knew coming in how important it was. For us to go down a goal early was frustrating, but I was really proud of how the girls handled it today. We stayed in it mentally. We had to really dig and grind to find a goal."

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
2 - St. Edward's came into the game having allowed two goals all season. The Patriots equaled that total Saturday.

5,483 - Leah Draper played 78 minutes Saturday, bringing her career total to 5,483 to become the DBU career leader in that category. She passed  Rebecca Kernen, who played 5,436.

0  - Wilson, who leads the Heartland Conference with a .900 save percentage, did not record a save.
