Men's Soccer Ties Texas A&M International, 1-1

THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Soccer team (3-2-1. 0-1-1 Heartland Conference) tied Texas A&M International (1-1-3, 0-1-1) by a score of 1-1 Saturday in a physical contest. After a scoreless first half, the Dustdevils took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Alan Rivera in the 51st minute. The Patriots answered 5 minutes later on a Brooks Friedman header. Ethan Martinez assisted Friedman's goal.

Tyler Hofmann made 10 saves for a .909 save percentage. TAMIU outshot DBU 19-10. The Patriots did not allow a shot on goal in either overtime period.

The referees issued 7 yellow cards during the match - 4 to DBU and 3 to TAMIU.
