After a scoreless first half, the Dustdevils took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Alan Rivera in the 51st minute. The Patriots answered 5 minutes later on a
Brooks Friedman header.
Ethan Martinez assisted Friedman's goal.
Tyler Hofmann made 10 saves for a .909 save percentage. TAMIU outshot DBU 19-10. The Patriots did not allow a shot on goal in either overtime period.
