The DBU Women's Soccer team (7-2 -1, 5-1-1 Heartland Conference) shut out St. Mary's (6-4-1, 3-3-1) by a score of 4-0 Saturday.
Kaci Parks started the scoring less than two minutes into the contest with her second goal in as many games.
Abigail Olmos assisted on Parks' goal.
Emma Durain scored on a free kick from 30 yards out in the 45th minute to add insurance.
Olmos picked up a goal in the 49th minute, and
Katelyn Havard padded the lead in the 86th minute with an assist from
Melissa Jones.
Hope Koym and
Grace Johnson combined for the shutout, as the Patriot defense kept the Rattlers from putting a shot on target.
THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
 - The Patriots still have not allowed more than one goal in any of their 10 games this season. DBU has never started a season with such a streak longer than four games.
 - DBU has outscored opponents 15-2 in its last seven games and 6-0 over its last three.
 - Parks is the fifth different Patriot to score two goals this year. She is tied with

Emmy Niece,

Jayme Woodfill for the team lead.
