Three-Point Shooting Helps Patriots Tame Tigers in Homecoming Win

THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Basketball team made 15 of its 29 threes Saturday night in a 100-77 Homecoming win over Ouachita Baptist at the Burg Center. Chandler Jacobs led the way with 28 points on eight-of-10 shooting from the floor.

After taking a 46-27 lead into the locker room at halftime, the Patriots turned up the heat from outside, making 10 of their 16 attempts from beyond the arc in the second half. Jordan Manse made a game-high five threes on nine attempts.

THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Patriots extended their home winning streak to 27 games.
- DBU has increased its scoring total in every game this season.
- Four Patriots - Jacobs (28), JT Harris (19), Manse (15) and Julian Miranda (10) reached double figures in scoring.

DBU HEAD COACH BLAKE FLICKNER ON A KEY SECOND-HALF ADJUSTMENT
"Chandler Jacobs got cooking. Man, he's hard to guard when he gets going. We went small, they started pressing, and I love when teams start to press us. Jordan Manse hit a bunch of threes against the press and really gave us a lot of space, so I really enjoyed seeing that."
