COUNTDOWN TO TIP-OFF
DBU hosts Texas A&M International on Saturday in the first meeting of the season between the two teams. The Patriots took down Lubbock Christian on Thursday 75-69 in a hard fought road battle.
Julian Miranda hit a three-pointer to put DBU ahead 68-60, but the Chaps surged back to within one down 68-67. A
Chandler Jacobs three-pointer but DBU up 71-67, which led to free-throws the rest of the way for the Patriots.
JT Harris and Jacobs were 4-4 from the line to close game, 75-69.
PATRIOT STORYLINES
- The Patriots are undefeated at home this season, and have won 27 consecutive games at the Burg Center.
- DBU averages 83.7 points per game as a team, the third-highest in the conference behind St. Edward's and Oklahoma Christian.
-Â This is DBU's second to last home game before a road trip to Texas A&M Commerce, followed by the Hoops in Hawaii DII Power Invitational.
