THE RUNDOWN
No. 22 DBU bounced back from its season-long two-game losing streak Saturday in a big way with a 103-74 victory over Randall at the Burg Center. The Patriots (19-5) tied their season-high of 103 points in what counted as an exhibition for Randall (15-10). 

DBU never trailed, as Patrick Burke scored four of his game-high 30 points before anyone else got on the board. Boy Van Vliet's leaner at the buzzer extended the Patriot lead to 46-34. DBU spent all but 21 seconds of the second half with a double-digit lead, building its advantage to as many as 37 in the second half. Every player dressed saw action for the Patriots. 

Burke's 30 points were a season-high and his second-highest career total behind a 37-point output against St. Edward's on February 23, 2017.  Chandler Jacobs added 15 points, a game-high eight rebounds, and tied Carter Brown with a game-high six assists. Xavier Hunter led the Saints with 20 points.

 THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Patriots won their 23rd straight home game and are now 38-6 at home in the last three seasons. 
- All but one Patriot scored Saturday, with Carter Brown as the lone exception. Brown tied Jacobs with a game-high six assists and no turnovers. 
- DBU's 103 points and 40 made field goals tied season highs set on November 24 against Condordia.

"We came out and executed better in the second half. I thought our defense was really good and allowed us to get out in transition. We got some easy buckets, and that's what helped open the lead up."

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
31 - DBU scored 31 points off 17 Randall turnovers.
46 - The 46 rebounds were a season-high.
74 - Randall's 74 points were its lowest total since January 11 in a 68-66 win over Grace Bible (Mich).
