The DBU Men's Soccer team defeated Adams State 1-0 in Alamosa, Colorado on Saturday to rise above .500 on the season. David Velazquez provided the Patriots' (2-1-1) lone goal, and Tristen Olvera made four saves to earn his second shutout of the season.
Velazquez buried a line drive in the Grizzly net on an assist from Diego Patli with just under six minutes to play in regulation to give the Patriots their second win of the year. The Grizzlies (0-4-0) remain winless despite doubling DBU's shots on goal total for the game.
