The DBU Women's Soccer team earned its twelfth consecutive victory of the season Saturday afternoon in a 3-0 win over Texas Woman's University. The twelve straight wins sets a school record. The Patriots (12-0-1, 9-0 Lone Star Conference) win sets up their next match with St. Edward's, with first place implications on the line.
For the Patriots, it was all
Delaney Schmidt who netted her first hat trick of her career. Schmidt scored in the ninth minute, the 69th minute from the foot of
Emmy Niece, and the 79th minute from the foot of
Summerlyn Heller.
