The Aggies jumped out to an early 8-4 lead over DBU and maintained a steady pace for the first 20 points. At 21-17, two errors by the Aggies and a kill from via Lexie Houston helped closed the gap to 21-20. Another bad set and a Houston kill tied the game at 22-22, but it was an attack error that helped DBU take the lead. Two final kills via Brooke Clark led the Lady Patriots to a win in the first set, 26-24.

It was tight from the jump in the second set with the first seven points matched by both teams. Tied at 7-7, DBU pulled ahead with a 4-0 run after a three kills and service ace via Alyssa Pevehouse. The Aggies fought back to tie the set again at 12-12, but a series of kills and an error put the Lady Patriots back on top at 17-13 to force a Cameron timeout. DBU held at least a three-point advantage for the remainder of the set, with a final 5-0 run to give them the win at 25-16. Brooke Clark led with 12 kills after the second set, with Emma Eakin and Lexie Houston right behind.

DBU came out strong in the third set to put the first four points on the board. The Aggies struggled to get points on the board, helping the Lady Patriots to a 12-5 lead going into the first timeout of the set. The Aggies found some momentum to go for a 4-0 run to close the gap at 12-9, but it wasn't enough pressure to stop the Lady Patriots as they posted a couple kills to extend the lead to 14-10. The Aggies rallied back to post a series of kills to bring the game to a two-point deficit at 20-18. The Lady Patriots kept up the fight to win the final set of the match, 25-21.
