DBU struggled to get points on the board as the Belles pulled out to an early 15-4 lead in the first set. A 4-0 run by the Lady Patriots backed by a kill via Macey Winburn and Carly Earnest helped DBU close the gap to nine points at 21-12.  The Belles kept the pace to win the set, 25-13.

DBU came out strong in the second set to take the lead at 7-5 backed by a couple kills from Bailey Herbert and Hannah Tawney. The Belles came back to tie the set at 11-11 and took the first lead of the set after a 3-0 run put them on top at 14-12. The Lady Patriots rallied back to tie the game at 19-19 before taking the lead again by one. Both teams kept the same energy going into the third set keeping a tied score for the first six points. A couple Belle errors put DBU on top at 8-6 and they held their lead for the next three points until the Belles came back to tie the set again at 11-11. Neither team allowed much breathing room until a 3-0 run helped the Belles take the lead 19-15 to force a timeout. The Belles kept their momentum to win the set 25-17.

Angelo State jumped out to an early 9-3 lead in the fourth set, but DBU came back to close the gap at 14-12 after a couple kills via Emma Eakin and Bailey Hebert. The Belles offense was on fire to give them the advantage to win the set 25-18.
