No. 13 DBU Erupts in Second Half to Knock off Dallas Christian, 96-49

THE RUNDOWN
No. 13 DBU knocked off Dallas Christian by a score of 96-49 Tuesday for their third victory in the last five days to tie the school record for best start to a season at 8-0.  The contest was only the Patriots' second home game of the season as the program played six of their first eight games on the road.

The Patriots struggled to establish a dominate lead in the opening 20 minutes against a resilient Crusaders squad. Dallas Christian would erase multiple 10-point Patriot leads to take a manageable eight-point deficit into the half. However, the Patriot offense would ignite like a jet engine to score 65 second half points on a red-hot 65 percent from the field.

Chandler Jacobs and Artan Jabbar led the Patriots with a combined 28 points. Jabbar and his freshman running mate Josh Ogunlade had career performances for DBU as they combined for 26 points on over 50 percent shooting.
