DBU Secures Regular Season Sweep of Oklahoma Christian

THE RUNDOWN
DBU won their seventh straight game as Heartland Conference opponent Oklahoma Christian fell 86-82 Thursday evening in Edmond, Oklahoma. The Patriots (20-7, 11-2) shot 57 percent from the field in the first half, extending their lead to as many as 13 with 12 minutes left in the first half.

The Patriots kept the Eagles at bay throughout the game despite a few scoring runs by the Eagles. Senior Jordan Box led OCU with 25 points on 8-17 shooting. Oklahoma Christian shot 84 percent from the free-throw line as a team, while going 8-19 from beyond the arc.

Chandler Jacobs led the Patriots with a team-high 21 points and seven rebounds, while Carter Brown had 11 points of his own. Jordan Manse registered nine points and a pair of assists, while Jonathyn Washington scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds.
