PATRIOT STORYLINES
- The Patriots are coming off a series win over Illinois State and are undefeated on Sundays in 2019. After Sunday's win, DBU has now won at least 30 games in 15 out of the 16 seasons in the Division I era.

- DBU dropped two spots from No. 29 to no. 31 in the RPI after taking two of three from Illinois State at home.

- Tuesday's game will be the Patriots' ninth road game in the month of April. DBU is 4-4 away from Horner Ballpark in April.

- DBU's weekend rotation has been a strength this season, anchored by seniors Jordan Martinson and MD Johnson. Martinson is fifth in DBU's Division I era in wins with 18, while Johnson is second with 26 wins and third in strikeouts at 242.

- Led by Bryce Ball's 10 blasts, the Patriots lead the MVC with 50 home runs and 1.16 home runs per game.

- Patriot pitching is ranked No. 10 in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings (10.1) and No. 17 in strikeout-to-walk ratio (2.88), leading the Missouri Valley Conference in both categories. MD Johnson and Jordan Martinson are tied for the MVC lead in strikeouts at 78. Johnson leads the MVC in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 5.20 and leads the Valley and is ninth in the nation with a WHIP of 0.87.

- DBU is 86-33 in Missouri Valley Conference games since joining the MVC in 2014 and has finished first or second in the regular season standings each season.

- Jackson Glenn has reached base in each of the last 12 games. Jimmy Glowenke and Blayne Jones have each reached base in 10 straight.

- The Patriots are 64-for-78 stealing bases on the season, paced by Augie Isaacson's 22 steals in 25 attempts. Isaacson is tied for second in DBU's Division I era in single-season steals, four short of Devlin Granberg's program record of 26 set in 2018.
