COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF
The Patriots started the 2018 season with a 1-0 loss against Dixie State last Saturday at Patriot Field. The Patriots (0-1) put six shots on goal but came away scoreless for the first time in 2019.

The Trailblazers (1-1) put just four shots on goal all night, converting one with less than 20 minutes to play before halftime for the game's only score. The Patriots held the Trailblazers to eight total shots, but Dixie State withstood several second-half barrages from the Patriots to pick up its first win of the year.

DBU travels north to Shawnee, Oklahoma, to take on Oklahoma Baptist at 5:00 p.m.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
- 17 of the 37 players on the Patriot roster made appearances last time out.
- Seven players made their DBU debuts Saturday night.
- DBU is looking to nap a seven-game road losing streak.

SCOUTING OKLAHOMA BAPTIST
- Oklahoma Baptist was picked to finish eighth in the Great American Conference men's soccer preseason poll.
- OBU is 1-1 on the season. The Bison fell in double-overtime to Oklahoma Christian last Saturday, 2-1.
- The Bison finished third in the GAC last season with a 2-4 mark in a four-team conference.
- Oklahoma Baptist returns two of their top three goalscorers in Alejandro Castillo and Dominic Gibson from 2018.
- The Bison also welcome back former GAC Defender of the Year David Estrada and Luis Romero, 2017's leading scorer, as graduate students in their final year of eligibility.

SERIES HISTORY
DBU and OBU are tied in the all-time series 1-1. The Patriots took the last match 3-1 on September 10, 2015 in Dallas.
