THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Basketball team stumbled on the road against Oklahoma Christian by a score of 61- 42 Saturday afternoon. The Patriots' seventh ranked offense simply could not get comfortable versus the Eagle's second ranked defense, shooting 31 percent from the field in their second loss of the season.
Â
The Eagles' ability to crash the boards made life difficult for the Patriots. Oklahoma Christian clogged the lane and prevented the Patriots from getting comfortable for the entirety of the contest.
Â
Oklahoma Christian's Dedrian Parmer Jr. led all scorers with 17 points. For DBU,
Carter Brown tallied 10 points on 5-8 shooting and was the only Patriot to reach double figures.

-The Patriots' last two games have featured two combined lead changes.Â
HEAD COACH BLAKE FLICKNER ON THE GAME
"We did a poor job today of staying in attack mode. Give Oklahoma Christian credit. They have a history of playing really well against good teams. They've been strong defensively all year... This has to be a learning experience for us. As coaches, as players, we need to be better moving forward. I am disappointed with the outcome, but I am excited to see how we respond the next few days."
