The DBU Men's basketball team knocked off St. Mary's University by a score of 91-66 Thursday night in San Antonio, Texas. The 25-point victory snaps the program's two game losing streak as the Patriots prepare for a pivotal clash against the division-leading St. Edward's University on Saturday afternoon.
The Patriots were locked in for the full 40 minutes, torching the Rattlers on 59 percent shooting from the field. St. Mary's never found an answer for a dizzying DBU passing attack that generated 23 assists.
Chandler Jacobs did a little bit of everything for DBU, registering game-high marks of 16 points and 9 rebounds along with four assists.
Conner Lidiak and
Tylan Dean returned to form by draining a combined seven treys on 11 attempts for 26 points.
