THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Tennis team was a perfect 21-0 in matches over the weekend, sweeping all doubles points and singles matches against Howard Payne, Hardin-Simmons, and McMurry respectively. Brian Nguyen was this week's standout, posting a flawless performance in both singles and doubles. Aaron Capone, Hunter Terrell, Matthew Dayman, and Jacob a Delao also recorded their first singles wins for the patriots this year.
DBU grabbed control early in all of their matches, taking the doubles points and using that momentum to roll right into singles play. Every single player stepped up this weekend to propel DBU to their first three wins of the Spring season.
UP NEXT
The Patriots will next return home to face a new trio of teams in Texas Wesleyan, Southwestern, and Texas A&M-Texarkana. Play will resume on Friday, February 21st at the Arlington Tennis Center.
