THE RUNDOWN
The Lady Patriots took care of business in their Saturday double-header, sweeping both Hardin-Simmons and McMurry University 7-0. DBU confidently handled their opponents without dropping a single match. While Hardin-Simmons pushed the Lady Patriots in a couple of sets, each player buckled down and won their match.
Reigning Lone Star Conference Player of the Week Kate Daugherty and Sophomore Taylor Leslie did not drop any sets during singles play. Together, they also remained perfect in doubles play this Spring.
UP NEXT
DBU heads to the Big Island, Kona, Hawai'i to compete in four matches starting on Friday, February 14th. Two of their opponents, Hawai'i Pacific and UC San Diego, are nationally ranked by the ITA.
