No. 11 DBU Bounces Back with 91-74 Win Over UTPB

THE RUNDOWN
The No. 11 Patriots bounced back to knock off UT Permian Basin, 91-74 Saturday in Odessa, TX. With the 17 point win, DBU (10-2) splits the two-game series with UTPB while improving to 4-2 away from the Burg Center.

The Patriots stormed out of the gates in the first half, torching the Falcons with 77 percent three-point shooting to grab an early lead that would not be relinquished. On the defensive end, DBU chased the Falcons' sharpshooters off the three-point line, allowing just 32 percent shooting from downtown.

Chandler Jacobs led the Patriots in scoring, tallying 20 plus points for the ninth time this season. Ricky Lujan and Carson Hughes contributed 16 points apiece, while William Heather added 13 points and a game-high three blocks.
