THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Tennis team opened their spring season with a sweep of Schreiner and Howard Payne, posting a pair of 9-0 wins on Friday at the George & Frances Cree Tennis Center in Kerrville, Texas.  
Grant McKenzie and 
Aaron Capone each picked up wins in line 1 singles action, while the tandem of 
Gabe Garrido and 
Josh Williams went 2-0 in line 1 doubles.  In their 30 sets on the day, the Patriots managed to go a perfect 30-0 in singles and doubles play. 
DBU Head Coach 
Wade Morgan also notched his 200th career victory, earning the milestone win over a Schreiner team that he served as the head coach for from 2011-2018.

"It was a great start for the men's team today.  We came out strong in doubles in both matches.  We've been working on starting fast and the guys did a good job of coming out strong today.  Tomorrow's matches will be another good test."
