THE RUNDOWN
The Patriots (10-8, 2-4 LSC) fell to UT Tyler, 1-6, in their final road match of the regular season. The Patriots of UTT entered Thursday's contest behind the momentum of a five-match win streak and used that energy to jump out to an early and insurmountable lead. 

The junior tandem of Josh Williams and Gabe Garrido picked up DBU's doubles win by a score of 6-2 from the line 1 spot. As the match progressed, UT Tyler tightened its grip, winning five of the six matchups in singles competition for the five-point victory. 

Gabe Garrido was the lone Patriot to go undefeated on the day. Following his doubles win with Josh Williams, Garrido fought his way to a 10-7 triumph in three sets for his ninth win of the year.
