DBU completed a three-game sweep of Oral Roberts on Sunday afternoon at J.L. Johnson Stadium in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a 4-1 win over the Golden Eagles.Â
Ryan Johnson improved to 2-0 on the season in the third start of his young career after working 5.0 innings and allowing just one run, while
Chandler Arnold notched his third save of the season and second of the weekend.

DBU (12-7) left three runners in scoring position in the first two innings before cashing in on a scoring opportunity in the top of the third. With a runners at first and second and two out,
Andrew Benefield laced an 0-1 pitch for a double to right field, scoring
Cole Moore from second before
George Specht was thrown out at home.
The Patriots expanded on their lead in the fourth as
Luke Heefner delivered his second home run of the season, a towering two-run blast over the wall in right to give the Patriots a 3-0 advantage.

ORU (12-8) answered with their lone run of the day when Alec Jones hit a solo home run over the wall in left. The Golden Eagles would threaten again in the sixth with runners at first and second and nobody out.Â
Zach Heaton entered from the Patriots' pen and induced a ground ball out and a double play ball to escape the jam.

For the third straight day, DBU added insurance in the eighth inning as
Miguel Santos stroked a double to right-center, scoring Nate Humphreys all the way from first.
After
Alec Baker worked a scoreless bottom of the eighth,
Chandler Arnold gave up a one-out single before retiring the next two including a strikeout of Alec Jones to close out the game.
