Men's Tennis Goes 1-2 in Weekend Action

THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Tennis team went 1-2 at the Arlington Tennis Center over the weekend. Splitting their two matches on Friday, the Patriots fell to Texas Wesleyan, 3-4, and defeated Texas A&M Texarkana, 4-3. The following day, DBU lost 2-5 to Southeastern Oklahoma.  

In doubles play, the Patriots went 5-4 over the weekend, headlined by Arturo Langle and Alec Rule, who swept all three of their weekend matches. 

Edgar Mayorga and Arturo Langle led the way for the Patriots after going 3-0 in singles play. Fabian Rosales also notched a mark in the win column in singles play.

"This was a very good weekend of competition overall. I am very pleased with the matches as a whole. It is always good for us to play some close ones early on and learn from them as we get closer to our conference schedule." 
 
UP NEXT
The Patriots return to action on February 20, when they travel to Marshall, TX, to face East Texas Baptist.
