THE RUNDOWN
The Patriots raced to a fourth-place finish at the Old Glory Gallop, scoring 125 points. Butler Community College claimed the team title with 50 points, followed by No. 20 Washburn University in second with 85 points and MSU Denver in third with 121 points.

Jeb Williamson led the way for DBU, clocking a personal-best time of 24:38.67 to finish 20th overall. Isaac Pendley was close behind, also setting a personal best with a time of 24:40.61 to place 23rd. The Patriots closed out their scoring five in tight succession with Hudson Joseph (29th, 24:46.46), Noah Joy (30th, 24:46.61), and David Salas (31st, 24:47.34).

Although DBU finished just four points behind RMAC rival MSU Denver, the nine-second spread among the scoring five is an encouraging sign heading into the postseason. The Patriots will return to the same course in two weeks to compete at the Lone Star Conference Championships, an event they have yet to conquer since joining the league in 2019.
