The Lady Patriots placed sixth at the Old Glory Gallop, scoring 158 points. Simon Fraser claimed the championship belt buckle with 108 points, followed by Midwestern State in second with 116 points and Texas State in third with 127 points.

Leading the way for DBU was Megan Williamson, who clocked a time of 17:44.50 to finish seventh overall. Courtney Richman was next across the line, one of four Lady Patriots to set a personal best in the 5k. The junior ran 18:07.20 to place 18th. Anastasia Tronicek
was DBU's third finisher, taking 34th overall in 18:30.80, followed by Avery Frank (47th, 18:43.02) and Addison Lopez (54th, 18:49.33).

While the sixth-place finish was a step below DBU's historical success at the Old Glory Gallop, the result remains encouraging. Though five programs finished ahead of the Lady Patriots, they held off several opponents from outside the South Central Region, including Washburn, Western Oregon, and Auburn Montgomery. DBU will have opportunities to even the score against Midwestern State, UT Tyler, and MSU Denver later this season.
