DBU Men's Tennis Rolls to 7-0 Shutout Over Schreiner

On Friday, the DBU Men's Tennis team improved to 4-0 with a dominant 7-0 shutout victory over Schreiner in Kerrville, TX, marking another impressive non-conference win.

The Patriots were flawless throughout the match against the Mountaineers, sweeping every game. Matthew Abbey led the charge with a 6-1, 6-0 win at the line 1 singles position. Ricardo Carvajalino (6-1, 6-1) and Arturo Langle (6-0, 6-1) followed suit with victories at lines 2 and 3. Fabian Rosales (6-0, 6-1), Arturo Beitman (6-1, 6-0), and Kell Castleberry (6-1, 6-0) completed the singles sweep with convincing wins.

The doubles matches mirrored the team's singles success, with Fabian Rosales and Ricardo Carvajalino cruising to a 6-1 victory at line 1. Matthew Abbey and Arturo Langle added a 6-2 win at line 2, and Mariano Guzman and Zach Capone wrapped up doubles play with a 7-5 win at line 3.
