- DBU is ranked in all five major polls for the fourth consecutive week. The Patriots are ranked as high as No. 17 by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
- DBU took 2-of-3 on the road from Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to win their third straight weekend series. After falling to Oral Roberts on a bases loaded walk in the ninth inning on Friday, the Patriots bounced back to win 6-1 and 6-5 over the Golden Eagles to take the series.

- The Sooners are very active on the basepaths. They are top 10 in the country in total steals (33, 10th) and steals per game (3.00, ninth). They are also fifth in the country in triples (7).
- Jason Walk leads the team in batting average (.412) and stolen bases (7).
