The Dallas Baptist University Lady Patriot Soccer team won their first game of the season on Saturday by defeating Eastern New Mexico by the score of 1-0.

The Patriots scored their only goal in the second period on a shot from Senior April Brooks, with the assist from Freshman Courtney Schneidau and Junior Jessica Johnson.

DBU resumes play on Wednesday at 7:00 against Mary Hardin-Baylor at Patriot Field.
