The Dallas Baptist University Patriot Baseball Team continued their success against Big 12 schools, by beating Oklahoma State (4-3) by the score of 10-2 on Tuesday night in Stillwater and improving to 3-2 on the year.

The Patriots were led by Sophomore pitcher Randall Taylor, who threw seven innings of five hit baseball, allowing only one run. Taylor improves to 2-0 on the year with the victory.

Leading the Patriots at the plate was Junior Israel Victor, who had three RBI and Junior Jeremy Goldschmeding and Senior Ryan Olivo, who each had two RBI.

The Cowboys struck first scoring one run in the first inning, but the Patriots quickly responded with four runs of their own in the top of the second.

DBU added another run in the fourth and four more in the eighth to push the score to 9-1 after eight innings. Each team added a run in the ninth inning, leaving the final score 10-2.

The Patriots resume play this weekend, when they travel to San Antonio for a three game series against the University of Texas-San Antonio.
