The DBU Patriots lost to the University of Texas Pan-American in Edinburg, Texas on Friday afternoon by the score 3-2.  Right-fielder Drew Holder led the Patriots at the plate going 3-4 with an RBI.  Randall Taylor pitched 8.1 innings, giving up only two hits and no earned runs.

The Patriots won game two on Friday by the score 5-2.

The Patriots carry a 22-17 record into Saturday's third game against UT Pan-Am.
