DBU competed in their first round game of the NCCAA Championships on Friday night.  The Lady Patriots were matched up against the number one seeded Trinity International.  DBU did not let the high seed faze them has they came out attacking and finished off Trinity by a score of 2-0.

The Lady Patriots were led by Senior Angelica Sandoval and Freshmen Khrystal Richmond and Emily Evans.  Sandoval and Richmond each contributed with a goal, while Evans made several key saves to pick up her eighth shut out of the season.   

DBU will look to keep advancing in the tournament Saturday night when they take on The Master's College, at 7:00.
