The Lady Patriots came out of Tuesday's Heartland Conference match-up with a tie 0-0 in double overtime against the Falcons from UT-Permian Basin .  It was a hard fought great defensive effort by both teams.

Regulation play was not enough for these teams.  They were forced to play two ten minute overtime periods. 

The Lady Patriots started the first overtime period by attacking Falcon Goalie Samantha Brownlee, but she stood strong and had 10 saves throughout the game.  Sophomore Forward Allyson Bales (7 total shots) had a great shot to end the first overtime period that unfortunately hit the crossbar.

The final overtime and game was ended with a last second save from Freshman Goalkeeper Haley Corbell (7 total saves).
