The Lady Patriots took care of business Thursday afternoon winning their Heartland Conference match at Patriot Field against Texas A&M International University to improve to 7-6-1 overall for the season.
In the 21st minute Sophomore Ally Bales scored to put The Lady Patriots in the lead 1-0, with assist coming from Junior Sarah Meierhofer.
Not long after, Junior Emily Evans scored again off a rebound from a Dustdevil save to end the first half.
The Lady Patriots did not stop at two. They came out hard and scored early in the second half when Meierhofer assisted Bales once again for her second goal of the match to extend the lead to 3-0.
Freshman Hope Adams and Junior Meierhofer scored two late goals for The Lady Patriots to finish off the Dustdevils and capture a 5-0 victory.
