The Dallas Baptist Lady Patriots Soccer Team traveled to Edmond, Oklahoma on Thursday to take on University of Central Oklahoma.  It was a long, misty, physical game at Wantland Stadium for the Lady Patriots, which ended in a 1-0 loss. 

The Lady Patriots played hard on the defensive side of the ball throughout the game but could not keep UCO red shirt Freshman Summer Grantham from scoring in the 44th minute to put DBU down 1-0. 

Junior Chelsea Smith for the Lady Patriots broke open from the UCO defenders in the 79th minute but just missed the goal as the shot went wide.  Neither team scored in the second half ending the game 1-0 in favor of UCO.  DBU fell to 2-2-1 on the season after the loss and UCO improved to 1-3-1 on the season.

The Lady Patriots are back in action Saturday, September 12 at 5:00 pm as they continue their road trip in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as they take on Oklahoma City University.
