The Dallas Baptist University Lady Patriot Soccer Team fell to the St. Edward's University Lady Hilltoppers on Saturday afternoon in Austin, Texas, by the score of 1-0. With the loss, the Lady Patriots fall to 6-9 on the season, and 4-3 in Heartland Conference play.

Haley Corbell had five crucial saves to end the first half a scoreless, 0-0.
In the second half, the Lady Hilltoppers continued to pound shots towards the DBU goal, but Corbell was able to come up with another four saves, giving her a game high nine saves. The game remained scoreless until Rachel Murray for SEU assisted Janae Averett on the only goal of the game, which was scored in the 85th minute. With the win, the Lady Hilltoppers sit alone atop the Heartland Conference standings with a perfect 7-0 record and remain undefeated in the regular season holding onto a 14-0-1 record.
The Lady Patriots are back in action on Thursday, October 28, as they play Texas A&M International at Patriot Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
