The Patriots Men's Tennis team continued their winning ways as they won three out of four over the past week. First on the slate for the Patriots was a road trip to Sherman, Texas where they took on the Kangaroos from Austin College. DBU jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after doubles play and never looked back, taking the match 9-0.

Two days later, DBU was back at home to face McMurry University. After starting out strong 3-1 with a quick victory at the six spot by Phillip Allen, McMurry would rallied to win four of the next five matches for the upset, 5-4.

The loss proved to motivate the Patriots as they geared up for a double header on February 20, against Kansas Wesleyan University. KWU posed no threat to the Patriots and were quickly defeated 9-0. Later in the afternoon, the Patriots took on Bethany College. DBU made quick work of the 24th ranked Bethany, defeating the Swedes 5-1.
