After three straight games without allowing a goal, the Lady Patriots Soccer Team found themselves on the other end Tuesday night in Commerce, Texas.

Even though DBU outshot the Lions 15-12, an Evan Stanberry goal from just inside the midfield stripe proved to  be enough for Texas A&M-Commerce as they held the Lady Patriots scoreless for the first time this season.

The loss snaps a three game win streak for DBU Soccer and the Stanberry goal ended a 436 minute stretch of being unscored upon for freshman goalkeeper Kerry Edwards. The three game shutout and win streak included a victory over #8 Missouri Central last Thursday.

The Lady Patriots now have nine days before their next contest when they take on Newman University in their first conference matchup of the season on September 22 in Wichita, Kansas.
