Patriots defeated at Texas Lutheran

The Dallas Baptist Men's Team dropped its third-straight match in just as many days on Saturday. The latest setback for DBU (1-5) occurred at Texas Lutheran by a result of 8-1.

The lone set victory came for freshman, Dean Dahlsten, and sophomore, Bryant Forshee, in an 8-6 finish. The #2 slot tandem has now won three times on the campaign, and leads the Patriots in wins for doubles competition.

In the #1 singles, sophomore, Anthony Burch, fell to Guriner Robison 6-3, 6-1.

Dahlsten had the closest effor in the $3 singles with a tiebreaker set necessary to decide it with TLU's Ryan Beene. After the Hesston, Kansas, native of the Patriots fell 7-5 in the opening set, he rallied back 6-3 before coming up shy in a 10-5 final set.
