The Dallas Baptist Men's Tennis Team dropped three matches total at a two-day tournament in Phoenix, Arizona, Monday and Tuesday. DBU moves to 1-11 overall and has fallen in nine-straight matches.
 
In the first contest Tuesday morning, the Patriots were unable to prevail in either doubles contest. Being short-handed, Dallas Baptist filled out the first two slots, with freshman, Dean Dahlsten, and sophomore, Brian Forshee, competing in the top spot. The duo fell 8-3 to MCC's Kevin McMahon and Justin Haag.
 
In the #2 slot, sophomore, Anthony Burch, and freshman, Colby Milner, teamed up in an 8-4 setback on the morning set.

That Tuesday afternoon, the Patriots would triumph in both doubles attempts, but the effort would come short against Arizona Christian University. The setback came at a final tally of 7-2.
 
Forshee and Dahlsten flipped spots in the #1 slot, but would defeat Andrey Leschenko and Adam West 8-1 to get the Patriots in front early. Burch and Milner extended the advantage with an 8-3 score in the next doubles match-up, but ACU earned a forfeit point in the third slot.
 
The Patriots couldn't shift the momentum back in the singles round, as the Patriots scuffled through all five matches. Milner dropped both sets, 6-3 and 6-1, posting the closest margin for DBU in the #4 slot. Participating in the #3-seed was Dahlsten, falling by 6-2, 6-1 finals to Tyler Cawthorne.

On Wednesday, the Men's Team dropped a 9-0 contest to Our Lady of the Lake. DBU again posted solid efforts in the doubles, but would come up shy to create an early deficit.
 
Forshee and Dahlsten again played in the #1 slot for the Patriots and fell 8-6. Burch and Milner would fall 8-5 in the second spot for the Men's Tennis Squad.
 
Dallas Baptist is on the court again March 18 for a 7PM start time versus Ottawa University in Waco, Texas.
