Men's Tennis Suffers Setback Verus Bethel College

The Dallas Baptist Men's Tennis Team moved to 1-18 following a 9-0 setback on Friday afternoon at Newton, Kansas. The Patriots remain at the same courts tomorrow for a contest versus Central Christian College at 10 AM. 

Sophomore, Anthony Burch, and freshman, Dean Dahlsten, were defeated in the #1 line 8-4, to Clinton Chlumsky and Jesse Voth-Gaeddert. DBU also would fall in the #1 and #3 lines 8-4, and 8-3, respectively to move behind 3-0. 

Burch and sophomore, Bryant Forshee, were defeated in the top two spots of the singles competition by Logan Palenske and Chlumsky, respectively. A pair of 6-2 totals in Burch's affair and 6-2, 6-1 setbacks from Forshee began the rounds. Wrapping up the contests were #3 slotted Voth-Gaeddert over Dahlsten, 6-1, 6-2. Other matches beyond that were settled at the progress currently made prior to the final decision being recorded.
