THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist Men's Tennis Team would fall to the University of Texas-Permian Basin Falcons 7-2. Zane Nelson would be apart of both of DBU's points winning in singles and doubles play. 

 The Patriots would start the day scoring the first point of the match with Nelson and Cannon Jones winning in Line 1 doubles competition 8-4. DBU would fall in Lines 2 and 3, leaving them in a 2-1 deficit.

To open singles play, Jones in Line 1 and Leighton Forshee in Line 2 would battle valiantly to tie breakers in their sets, but ultimately falling short putting UTPB up 4-1.   

Nelson's second point for the Patriots would come in Line 3, where he would come out on top 7-5, 6-1.  

UTPB would go on to claim Line's 4 through 6 ultimately giving them a 7-2 win over the Patriots.
