In doubles action St. Mary's would sweep all three match-ups, outscoring the Patriots 24-11 overall.
In singles competition StMU would win both Line 1 and Line 2 taking a 5-0 lead.
Zane Nelson would be the shinning moment for Dallas Baptist battling back to take Line 3 in a tie breaker. Despite losing his first game in Line 3, Nelson would storm back taking the final two games 6-4 and 10-3 to take Line 3 and the set.
After Nelson's play, St, Mary's control would continue for the final three sets securing them an 8-1 victory.
