THE LEADThe DBU Men's Tennis Team won their season high fourth straight match of the year, defeating Southwestern College, 8-1. This is the third straight opponent, the Patriots have allowed only one game won.
In singles action, DBU's
Cannon Jones and
Cole Schafer blanked SWC's Logan Bevis and Jonahs Joudrey, 8-0 in line one.
The Patriots also claimed lines two and three , both by a score of 8-5, with
Anthony Burch and
Isaac Childs defeating Blake Cherry and Josh Ellis, while
Donald Kelly Jr. and
Jordan Jackson won against Jonathan Buckner and David Burdick.
DBU's hot streak continued in singles action, taking lines one through three.
Jones defeated Joudrey by a score of 8-4 in line one, with Burch defeating his opponent by the same mark in line two. Schafer outlasted Cherry in line three, 9-7.
Despite falling in line four, the Patriots obtained line five, with a 8-3 Childs win over Braden Baker and Kelly Jr. taking line six with a 8-5 victory over Brian Vancuren.
