THE LEAD
The DBU Men's Tennis Team suffered a setback after having their four match win streak snapped, falling to Newman University, 9-0 in Heartland Conference play.

DBU was unable to win any match in doubles action, with both Cannon Jones and Cole Schafer and Anthony Burch and Isaac Childs, falling in lines one and two, respectively, to a score of 8-5. The duo of Jordan Jackson and Donald Kelly Jr. fell in line three, 8-1.

Singles action was the same for DBU, with Newman taking lines one though six.

Jones would be the only Patriot to extend his game to a three set match in a 6-4, 4-6,10-7 loss, while the other Patriots fell in two sets.
